Hi

I used to play music files on my old Outlander using an SD card. This option isn't available the CX-60 since the SD card slot is used for the built in sat nav maps. I put the music files onto a 16GB USB stick, and using a USB-C adapter plugged it into one of the USB ports in the centre console. I straight away got some sort of message like 'USB device not supported. I tried a smaller capacity (4GB) USB memory stick, and it now works fine. You can browse, play, skip, etc files using the 'Command' and adj Volume knob controls.
I'm not sure what the largest size capacity memory stick is that the system will recognise.
Sounds like one of your usbs was not formatted to the format that the Mazda can read, I believe its Fat32.

It’ll read 64gb in max capacity, I havent tried it higher yet. Although it will always ‘see’ a bigger drive , the only way to tell if can read it is checking you can listen to every album you put on it, which can be tedious :)

Hi, everyone!
My biggest and only problem with the car is that I don't have the car. Ordered it in 7/22 but I modified the order in 8/22 and estimated delivery was 1.3.2023. However, the car wasn't ready until early february and delivery was postponed by one month. I kept asking further details but my dealer didn't get a proper response from Mazda instead I was told the car was in the status: transportation. I started to get really frustrated. Last friday I contacted my dealer again but he didn't have any new information. Finally today, I was informed that the car is ready but it is still in Japan and waiting for the assembly of the control devices of the cameras. So it could take at least 3 months before I would receive the car. I terminated the contract.

Why is it that I keep reading everybody else receiving their cars altough I have ordered it so long ago? If there is a chip shortage then why wasn't I informed? To me I feel like Mazda has better markets and better customers somewhere else. And if this is their meaning for premium then they can keep it without me. I'm absolutely disappointed.

Probably a dealer issue?. Check if there is something already build/available with other dealers. That's how I did and the problem will be you might not find the exact color/specs.

Possibly as you are LHD, builds are delayed to cover the RHD Japanese market, and luckily because of this, the UK and Oz as we are RHD also.

I think the car got resold by the dealer or the place in the production order was sold.
I do not think it is Mazda showing a preference for certain markets or I would have never gotten my car delivered to Slovenia (a super tiny car market). My order went in mid October and the car was delivered 10 days ago. Would have taken less time, but it got stuck in Barcelona for a good week and a half.

Did you get your deposit back? If you did without much of a struggle, that could indicate that the dealer was accepting the blame for the delay.

In the UK, we have deliveries if the CX60 in a matter of weeks, not months. My new one was six weeks from order to delivery.

I don't think so because my dealer would literally have lied to me of everything. They offered a different colored car from other dealers stock but I rejected it. I ordered the specific car and it is still in Japan and Mazda obviously doesn't care. So no more Mazdas for me.

There was no deposit and I don't see any reason I should pay any penalties. There was a 3400€ price increase in august but my order was placed before it with lower prices. Also my interest rate was 0.99% so maybe these things could affect. They shouldn't of course.

it's the case everywhere. Before ordering cx60 I put deposit for BMW X1 last November and dealer told me will be arriving in April. Then in April I got a call saying your order is pushed to 2024 and no reason while others are getting delivered.
We then went to audi q3, booked for a test drive with a dealer and confirmed with them. When we arrived there with my family they told me there is no vehicle to test drive! My friend had a situation with Audi as well, when vehicle got delivered it was missing a pack which he ordered. He rejected it.
I've seen people reporting in bmw forums that they are missing some packs/features they ordered or they getting extra from what they ordered because dealer missed to add some when pushing orders.
It's mainly dealers fault, not Mazda's/Audi's/BMW's.

Good for you! I have no idea of the car markets but there are 15 times more people in the UK than in Finland so easily sales are 15-20 times bigger there. It takes two months to ship the car from Japan to Finland.

I asked other dealers current delivery times and it is now 6-8 months. Last year it was 6 months and there are many people who have gotten their cars in 6-7 months here.

So my dealer is a piece of shit after all  Ultimately there is the manufacturer then the importer and the dealers. If one dealer is a pile of garbage then the customer gets the impression of the car brand like I did.

Luckily I ordered a new car from a different manufacturer that doesn't have any dealers and there is a ship loaded with new available cars arriving next month. I can also check online where it is located so I don't have to deal with no lying dealers.

That's what I did as well. Contacted my current dealer online, I asked them for a black homura without driver assistance pack. But they had a Rhodium white Homura with Convenience and Driver assistance pack on the way. We booked that model and we got around 4k discount as well.

Yes, this was my point, they will always prioritise certain markets, and especially one where the core of the car is the same build as that of the one on native soil. Its not excusable though, all cars/orders should be dealt with in a chronological order, but its evident they arent.

We also have a large percentage of cars being built and sent ahead of actual orders as the options and colour variations with the CX60 are quite low.
