Anyone with confirmed cause or solution for that whining sound when shifting around 57kmh on PHEV?
I have that too, it always occurs when shifting to the 6th gear as far as I could tell. But, I suspect it's not an issue, probably all do the same due to some technical reason.Anyone with confirmed cause or solution for that whining sound when shifting around 57kmh on PHEV?

ASH8 have a update file, that you can apply to HMIHello, just joined and taken delivery of a CX60 Phev, I like it so far
More of a nice to have, but has anyone been able to add the radio station logos to the touchscreen, it all just looks rather dull on the screen with out them and just the grey placeholders?
Thanks in advance
Any luck with the new type of driveshaft? 🙂My car is (since monday) currently at the repair shop, for a new type of driveshaft, in addition it needs a new rear gear, and a rack and pinion unit due to a dead center
I haven't got the car back yetAny luck with the new type of driveshaft? 🙂
Ah damn it, let’s hope for the best! 😃I haven't got the car back yet![]()

Reject the car while you still can.A quick update:
Car has been left in the garage on Wednesday and had a chat with them this morning and can report the following :
- 12V battery warning - still no luck. Reprogramming procedure performed, new battery fitted, current battery left on charge overnight using 17V input to regenerate it - still no luck and a chime and warning message on the dash as soon as they switch the car off.
- Driver personalisation system - Mazda technician is stuck with it. My car (produced in Feb 2023) has the newest recognition software version (compare to the demo they have) and at the moment they have no solution for the camera not recognising myself when I enter the car. It has also been confirmed that the software I have does not have option to select new driver height to set the optimal driving position. They are waiting now for the decision from Mazda UK what to do next.
- vibrating driver glass mirror when driving - I have pointed out to them to the service note TSB R119/22. I have been told that apparently this TSB is not applicable for my car as my VIN is not on the list. Does anyone have a copy of the TSB so I can check it? This will not be resolved until new TSB is in place even that they acknowledge the fact, that this is a safety concern.
Will keep you updated.
OK.I fear this 12V warning is going to plague me as well, they already tried to fix it and the recall work didn't.
Probably it is the problem of low voltage. Southeastern Dashcam detected it.OK.
I have ordered this:
We have a solution to your problems with battery!
I will put in on battery and it allow to monitor with 30 days memory. Question is: Is it fault with warning or is it low battery indeed. Why none is reporting problems with startup instead of warning?

You see this is the real interesting and bizarre thing about it.OK.

I don't think any of the current methods solve it on the Diesel, I've had a smorgasbord of things tried and all have failed but I'll mention this specifically to ensure its been one of the things tried.I know of 2 owners here in Denmark who had low voltage problems, it was fixed with an SSP-AP015A. (special service program)
Fingers crossed its sorted for you!Car collected from the dealership after three days.
At the moment there is no 12v warning.
I know it's too early to celebrate so let's wait few days.
They took the battery out. Charged it overnight, put in the car, drive for just over 30 minutes (and they have been monitoring the battery charge from the car), disconnected the battery post drive for over an hour and put it back in.
Apparently that way car "learned" the new battery status.
I'm not sure how true it is, but all I know is that there is no warning.
Driver recognition system has been re-installed and it also seems to work as expected.
Driver mirror has not been done yet. New TSB will be issued soon to cover my VIN.
Will do.So if there is some process to this learning function, I'd love to know what it is. Could you ask them?
First option that battery is broken after almost 2 month of low voltage keeping. Battery may by keep longer if outside of car but in car we always have some even low battery draining. If any battery go to low voltage, the state never be the same. In many manuals we have information that battery must be keep at 80% if device is not in use.- the 12V warning is a bug in the canbus/software
- the battery is on its way out from either being a badge batch or being stood in the docks in Japan and on the boat for months without being charged
- there is drain somewhere but not enough to kill the battery unless left for a week or two (had lots of owners finding this on facebook owners groups)
It may be connected with the first one. Car remember some level of voltage from the beginning. Now is not the same, so we have warning from system, but battery is a little bit worser due to 2 month of transportation. It may be still in good state but not the same one.I know it's too early to celebrate so let's wait few days.

I have installed monitor, it's continuous test with 30 days memory. Connected on battery directly.

Yes, of course.Do you also have this problem?
