Hello, guys!

After successful 14024 update (Thanks again, ASH8), I get a strange NAV issue: connect is switching from Waze (AA) to on-board NAV by itself, while driving, for no reason at all.

LE: it switches back and resume previous Waze navigation if you long press Home button, but it is still annoying.

The only thing that MIGHT be related is highway crossing / exits / intersections (doesn't seem to be influenced by speed, maybe speed drop (like 140 km/h to 100 / 80 km/h), but it does not happen when dropping speed in normal situations (like traffic jam or slow traffic) on the same roads.

I will be more careful in the next period, and will check every time when it happens (did it like 20 - 30 times in the last about 2.000 km)

Anyone else seeing the same?

Thanks!

T

I had this problem, but only a few days after i upgrade to 14024 about a month ago ... Now its OK... :p

I also have this problem. I just removed the SD card because it was driving me nuts.

My wireless CarPlay connection is stuttering at least once every minute lately. And occasionally the connection breaks… It seems like wireless interference, or a buffering issue. It’s probably the latter, since it didn’t happen on previous versions. Right after upgrading to 14024 it worked very well, but now not anymore.

It’s clearly noticeable when playing music, but it also happens when not playing and just opening Waze (not navigating). Then the map suddenly jumps forward.

Disabling 5G doesn’t help nor does changing wifi/music settings (iphone 16 pro). Same for re-pairing (20 times already).

Anybody else having the same issue? For now I’m using the cable.

Thanks, Jest!

I've deleted phone association with Connect, and re-paired it, but symptom is still there - entering on a different highway or exiting from one is switching connect to on-board navi.

Spooky, anyhow!

Today I learned about this hidden menu. Thanks ASH8!

My ECU sn says 7000C0A-EU07_14018. It came from the dealer 2 weeks ago.
Version 14024 fixed several issues and at least from the owners in germany who updated their software there were no complaints so far. Some Apple owner had to delete the connectivity profile and to set it up again. For me it fixed several issues and there are no issues so far.

I still have an issue with my carplay (see few posts above): on wireless, it will sometimes suddenly start lagging and occasionally the connection is gone. What do you mean with delete connectivity profile? I tried this 10 times already: I deleted the connection on phone and car, re-connected but it doesn’t help.

Anything else that can be done?

Hi, guys!

Android (S24 Ultra): tried to delete profile and re-pair, but to no outcome.

Still have the switchover to on-board navi when crossing major highways intersections / exits.

Tried with SDCard removed, it seems that this somehow fixes the problem, but it gets another one: speed limits are mostly missing from driver dashboard screen (showing "---" instead of current speed limit unless system sees a speed limit indicator, but this doesn't last also).

Will wait for a new update, whenever available. Until then, long press home button switches back to waze / AA.

My statement referred to the fact that the integrated navigation system keeps starting up when you are actually connected via Carplay or Android Auto. This error was successfully resolved for several drivers by deleting the connection profile and setting it up again.

If the connection between the vehicle and smartphone keeps disconnecting or is poor, like in your case, this is a different error, which I have not yet heard or experienced specifically in connection with the 14024 firmware. It may be worth connecting a different smartphone for a longer trip and observing the behavior.

There can be many causes and I would first look for them on the smartphone (energy-saving settings, parallel connections to headsets, access point settings, etc.).

But of course, please do not check or view these settings while driving. ;)

Alright, will re-setup my old iphone X and give it a go. I'll also try without a magsafe case.

I'll only fiddle with the phone when parked, that's for sure! I don't want to endanger anyone nor myself (y)

Drove the cx-60 4h this week with the old iphone X on wireless CarPlay without a single issue. I also connected my 16 pro to my EQB, and also no issues there. So it's the 16 pro combined with the cx-60 that is having issues. I'll go to the dealer tomorrow, and ask them to check if there's a CMU update available. Am reading similar issues on multiple fb groups..

If there's nothing they can do, I'll try a factory reset.
