Message to the good people on Firmware requests.

If you have been supplied Firmware by me before please use that Original "Message" as I can't possibly remember you.

If you are new to me (your first Firmware request) then please supply your full VIN in Message.

I am getting too many unscrupulous people wanting Firmware to hack systems who use VPNs to cover their real location.

I will not be apart of this behaviour as their actions are creating serious issues with cars other Op Systems.

If you can't supply full VIN which I verify I can't supply you Firmware updates.

Edit: The reason I require Full VIN is to confirm Mazda Model and the Series of your car as now there are two different versions for CX-60 and other Mazdas which are not interchangeable (2025 MY). I also check your VIN in a Mazda Database to ensure it is authentic and it does not reveal anything about owner privately whatsoever.
I do not store or collate VIN numbers for any other purpose.

I have updated EU07 14024 for CX-60 Mazda Connect.
Now I need to update the TCU software.
The information attached to the TCU file says: IF CARS BATTERY IS WEAK or POOR ADD ON A 12 Volt Battery (Trickle) Charger. Can the charger be connected to a 12V battery during the TCU software update??
I have noticed differences in the update time in the pdf file. - it is 10 minutes and in the text that is included with the file: INSTALL Time Up to 30 minutes.

Because the TCU instructions are Mazda generic ones, ie, used for all models in Gen7, some take longer to install than others.
Same with Mazda Connect update pdf, it is generic for all models.

Hello, guys!

After successful 14024 update (Thanks again, ASH8), I get a strange NAV issue: connect is switching from Waze (AA) to on-board NAV by itself, while driving, for no reason at all.

LE: it switches back and resume previous Waze navigation if you long press Home button, but it is still annoying.

The only thing that MIGHT be related is highway crossing / exits / intersections (doesn't seem to be influenced by speed, maybe speed drop (like 140 km/h to 100 / 80 km/h), but it does not happen when dropping speed in normal situations (like traffic jam or slow traffic) on the same roads.

I will be more careful in the next period, and will check every time when it happens (did it like 20 - 30 times in the last about 2.000 km)

Anyone else seeing the same?

Thanks!

T

Interesting. Do you have route plotted in both Waze and onboard NAV? Do you have speed camera alert active in onboard NAV?
