Thanks @ASH8 for the files again!

14024 enabled Google Maps navigation turn instructions on the heads up display for me, did not work with previous versions (only Apple Maps), so that was a surprise improvement!
This is just a recent update of Google Maps. I have 14024 for monthssss and it only started working in the hud a couple days ago.

This should only affect Apple CarPlay, though. Android Auto already worked before.

Hi Pafkes1, do you have an iphone running google maps with turn instructions on the heads up display? I have 14024 update too, with my iphone running latest IOS 18.6.2 and unfortunately no such thing like google nav instruction on HUD.
Many thx.

In the past iPhones were able to run Apple maps on Mazda’s HUD and Android phones both Google and Waze. But not the other way around.

Would be interesting to see how Google maps run via IPhones can be displayed on Mazda’s HUD. I’ve tried on my iPhone, but didn’t work.

Is there any setup / config I need to revisit?
Many thx.

Is anyone is aware if I can roll back from 14024? On original firmware (I guess it was 14012) I was able to use AAWireless module as "wired" AA connection and been able to modify DPI in AAWireless settings. On latest 14024 any of the dongles I got does not work, so there is no DPI customization option anymore.
Not a huge problem, but I liked smaller interface more. On original all seems a bit big. Thanks

I am on 14024, AAWireless (not the very latest one) and I do have modified DPI and Debug mode available (and working).
However quite recently AAWireless received a firmware update after which a lot of troubles occurred, including total loss of connection.

How I fixed it:
There is a small hole on the side wall of AAWireless enclosure where you can insert something very thin and keep it inserted for several seconds to trigger the total reset.
After that, performed the usual pairing ritual from the scratch.

My unit behaves well after that, in fact it is very stable now.

That is an kind of encouraging information, however I tried many, many times including what you put as a "fix", but nothing work. My dongle is one of the first ones, not 2.0 version.
Last time it was working fine was somewhere January 2025. Then I moved dongle to other car and used it there. Meantime done firmware upgrade on the car, no idea if I updated the dongle as well. Few months later tried the dongle again in CX60 and couldn't connect it no matter what I did. Even contacted AAWireless support and followed their steps (again and again) - no luck. Tried again another few months later - same outcome.
Can you check if you got an "Wireless AA option" in the car on or off and firmware in your dongle please? I tried with wireless AA "off", I'll check dongle firmware on afternoon. Thanks in advance.

Yo me encontrado que CarPlay no funciona si no es con el cable me podrías poner una foto de donde está ese agujero para reinícialo?
Gracias

Everything you wrote sound somehow familiar ;)
An acquaintance with this car, and given enough time, make one to become a professional magician, no?

I believe that the one of the preparations to summon the magic powers is to eradicate every single Bluetooth connection involved in this - first.
There are three of them:
  • connection: mobile phone -> AAWireless
  • connection: mobile phone -> CX-60
  • connection: CX-60 -> mobile phone
The AAWireless acts as an ad-hoc WiFi network, which directly follows the Bluetooth handshake - if you accidentally saved it - nuke it now.

(and probably before pairing, a cold restart of all three won't hurt)

Anyway, this is my go-to procedure in anything Bluetooth.

BTW, it may be related, in my Android phone (you may need to activate Developer Options in Setup), I selected AVRCP = 1.4 (instead of default 1.5) and MAP = 1.2 (default).
You may also try with Wireless Android activated in CX-60 setup (aka wireless AA "on") if you let AAWireless remain powered all the time (i.e. not use any of its built-in stand-by triggers). This way, AAWireless will get precedence because the mobile phone will see it first (for me, only one of 2 front USB contacts work reliably with it).

My AAWireless is on firmware v6.1.0 (the latest per today is v6.4.0, when beta download is disabled).

Para que funcione CarPlay inalámbrico en el móvil en bluetooth y wifi tienes que tener seleccionado Mazda….

I'm not asking for files, just info

Anyone with MY2025 running anything >10006? Maybe brand new car from factory or update done @ dealer?
