Just shows what a good dealer should be,
That’s a joke to try and fob of that family! The customer service is shocking, i explained I carry tools etc for work, cover the uk and I’m 6.5 and the response was basically “tough we have kept you mobile”

hope you get sorted soon
Just happened to me on the A85 in France - Hybrid malfunction and Hybrid Electrical Leakage detected.....I drove to services, switched off but now the car is stuck in Park. Warning.....Ive been informed by Mazda Recovery it could take up to a month to fix and repatriate the car...

And it is gone...

This is second time this happened. First time was when car was less then a month old and < 2.000km. Hybrid system cooling pump was replaced.
Now is bit less then 5 months old and ~8.000km. Happened in EV mode, 100m from home.

Are going to get rid of the car now or persevere?

Update:
I called my dealer yesterday morning at 8:10. Tow truck was at my house at 8:40. I ride along and got to the dealer at 9:10. I was offered a coffee and signed papers for MX-30 Electric loaner. While doing that chief mechanic did the diagnostics and I have a second dead hybrid system cooling pump. Pump is on the way and should be here today so if all goes well I'll have my car tomorow. I also got the message from regional Mazda CEO saying that they are monitoring my case.
So, the fact that both times this happened < 1km from my home without my wife and kids in the car and really superb reaction from my dealer and regional Mazda makes me not going full @Southeastern on them. Yet. Am I happy? No.
Now the technical part. Killing two pumps in 5 months and under 8kkm leaves only two scenarios. The original and 1st replacement pump had some constructional fault. I'm not aware if the new one is same pn/revision. Second, something else is killing those pumps. I've asked here and at the dealer about hybrid system operational temperature which in my case is between 70 and 80% on that gauge (if we count blue part as 10%, four larger parts as 4x20% and last red one 10%). People here and guys at dealer told me that they are having those values too. I would love to know how that translates to actual °C.
Will update more later.

No idea how many degrees but is never under 3/4 hot on the battery while 1/2 on the gas engine if it turns on. I have 15.000 km, 10 months and nothing has failed so far, I am quite confident there are some bad pumps out there creating problems. I hope they solve it for good this time.

My dealer changed that pump on many 2022 PHEVs he sold. I was second one with failed pump when it failed 4 months ago. First one with second failure. Car is made 12/2022

Hi @Neven, just to update you that you are not only one in Zagreb with 2 times broken pump. Happened to me this morning while my 2 year old was in car with me. Luckily we were going slow and I could pull by road. Just waiting for Mazda Mobile Warranty to organize tow truck to come pick it up and drive it to dealer (Arbanas). They told me that getting replacement car is not possible due to being less then 50km from home :( So now I must pay for rental also as I can't do anything without car (drive kids to school / kindergarten) . So much for Mazda's famous "safety and reliability"....
Car has only 5000km, first happened on 2000km.
I was happy when ordering CX-60 but now I know better -> not to take car with brand new technology/motor which is untested and what is worse is that Mazda mechanics do not know them enough to fix when something is wrong.

The story of being less than 50 KM away is not valid. You are not supposed to walk home. Looks as a lack of empathy of the dealer. They give you a replacement car even for an oil change service and do not ask where you live. I heard about the pump going bad many times altho I did not experienced it but on top of not offering a replacement car is unacceptable.

Sranje.
Mine died both time under a minute from starting the car, less then 1km from home so my guess is that it fails and gives an error when it tries to start for a first time after car is started. Is that what happened to you too?

I just went trough Mazda assist brochure. There is nothing about replacement car during repairs. They will provide you with taxi, bus, train, airplane ticket or a replacement car if you are more then 50km from home. Replacement car is dealer courtesy.

Yes, around 1-2km from home... Same situation. As I have leasing, I'm thinking of returning car. Fee for returning car before contract end is very small, It would be around 1500€ which is something that can't compare with security and reliability that you should expect from a car 70k+€.

It is written here: Mazda Europe Service | Mazda Hrvatska (scroll down, 2. point)

Then my dealer has been very nice in providing me a rented car for the time (2 days) they needed the car for the 15.000 km service, software updates, shock absorbers and installation of noise insulation on the doors.
Not only yours :).
At all times, during the last 10 years I owned any Mazda I have always been provided a replacement car during any kind of service, repair, or maintenance, as long as it also was serviced yearly according to plan.
So I guess, it depends on Mazda Head Office in your country, or in other words, with whom they have insured you ;).
Here in Sweden, we get 10-year warranty on Mazda since 2012...

Thx @ASH8!
I will call dealer and inform thenm about this as my car is right there now and they trying to fix this issue.
Finally some good news, hopefully that means that this problem will not occur anymore.

Does this mean that hybrid cooling pump does not need to be replaced, or it means that old one is broken due to this software issue and new one still needs to be installed?

As I read it, whatever was broken still needs to be repaired or replaced.
This particular TSB is not addressing any of the above.

What it basically says is that “the patient should not be euthanized but only anesthetized” ;).
My guess is that the correct failover procedure in this case (battery cooling compressor/pump failure) would be switching to ICE and only utilizing the main battery to such extent where the passive cooling of it deems sufficient.

Yeah not good, they changed the pump and compressor with no joy, at least my new one has been ok so far! Hopefully we can enjoy our cars with no more issues
I had exactly the same issue 2 weeks ago. The dealer told me he thinks the car was not ready to be sold, some more testing needed, bit wowww what a car you bought man... Homura 60K and now driving a Ford Puma because the car service have no fucking idea what is wrong
