Hi all,

just had my local dealer on, They have spoken to Mazda technical and they have advised needs recovering not to wait 2 weeks for a booking as initially advised, it’s an issue between compressor and pcm, will update once I know more.
Hi all

72 hours at the dealership and still none the wiser! After doing all the chasing, Technical think it could be the compressor (12-16 week lead time) or pump (4-6 weeks)

hopefully get an answer before they shut up shop for the bank holiday!
Nightmare...
Did they provide a replacement car?
Yeah they arranged one Monday via enterprise (Audi a3) so nothing close to a cx60, after complaining they put me in a q3, still a bit snug compared to mine! I spoke to the dealer yesterday and they still don’t know what the fault is, they think it’s likely to be the compressor so 12-16 weeks from time of order. Won’t be putting up with a small car for that long, I have a cx60 for a reason.
Hi all,

16 days in and still none the wiser to what the fault is! After emailing a complaint Mazda, the dealer an asks mazda called me for the first time, technical have requested the dealer checks wiring to the water pump?? Not sure how that relates to the hybrid system? They still believe either water pump or compressor but will check wiring and report back to mazda so likely to be another week or so to get the next step,

will update once I have some information.
24 days in and they still don’t know what the fault is, 9 days ago they were going to check wiring to ac compressor as per Mazda technical advice but still no response, last time the car was started was the 6th! Never experienced such poor communication/ customer care from any other manufacturer, Mazda and the dealership just seem not to care and do not keep customers informed!

hopefully Mazda or the dealership remember there’s a customer involved here and come up some answers.

24 days is ridiculous.

I'd be rejecting the car now without a doubt before it goes on too long. Its not like they don't have the stock to replace it.
That’s the next step and mentioned it last week, they are not keen on that idea but that’s tough, just amazed by the lack of customer service, Mazdas response is basically we don’t know so won’t bother / don’t have tk update you and you will just have to wait!

if it is the compressor the dealer has advised it will be approx 16 weeks from time of order!

I am sure they arent keen lol. It's not there choice though if you have acted fairly, which I think an judge would believe you have owning a car for seven weeks and now being without it for four.

Just reject it and ask them to replace it with a new one. Well within your rights.
👍 I will be calling them tomorrow to get it returned, going to be a fun call for them.

How did you get on? My car has just brought up the same message in the way home
They still don’t know what’s wrong, mazda engineers have got involved as there has been a similar case somewhere else, they need another couple of days to investigate if it’s the same (27 days isn’t enough) have they organised recovery of yours yet?
They've took it in and I'm getting a hire car so we shall see....
Hopefully it doesn’t take as long, will let you know what Mazda technical say.
Just spoke to my dealer and they were helpful. They had an announcement from mazda and have been recalled at 12 today.... they said they had two others come in with similar issues. Something to poss do with the battery not sure.
They said its not necessarily a terrible thing there had been a recall cos that means at least know they what the problem is.
I've still not got a replacement yet cos mazda tried to fob me off with a skoda octavia but now struggling to get something ideal. Waiting on a call back from enterprise. Face palm.
Update. My dealer is giving me a cx5. I'd rather deal direct with them than enterprise anyhow.
Glad you got a decent and helpful dealer, hopefully they can get you back into yours asap.

still no news on mine but it’s going back to them now, it’s been too long already
They said it could be today but not sure.

My dealer are putting a complaint in with Mazda themselves about their customer service cos they had another couple in with the same problem and they tried to give 4 adults with 4 suitcases who were on holiday a corsa....
Just shows what a good dealer should be,
That’s a joke to try and fob of that family! The customer service is shocking, i explained I carry tools etc for work, cover the uk and I’m 6.5 and the response was basically “tough we have kept you mobile”

hope you get sorted soon
