Hi ALL,
There is an EU/UK (and will apply to AU/NZ eventually) TSB Bulletin out for many Mazda's using latest Gen 7 Mazda Connect in regards to REMOTE TUNER dropping out all the time for and or HD Radio, DAB Radios etc.
There are software updates available right now that you can do now and or car will need a complete Remote Tuner Assembly Replacement depending on the Genuine Version Part Number in car now.

This issue Applies to ALL Gen 7 Mazda Connect made up to end of March, 2024.

Hi All,
I posted in CX-70 Section a thread on your cars Remote Tuner, here is the link.
Look at it, if you want to update yourself see Message .

I show you what the Remote Tuner basically does, and the guys in CX-90 forum say their Radio and FM is smoother and faster with software update, yes you can do.

Plus I can't verify yet but I think this expensive little unit is also the main culprit for excess 12V Battery Drain that early CX-30 were plagued with.

ALL GEN 7s need this software update, many need a new RT unit but Not the CX-60, CX-70, or CX-90 if yours accepts the update, if it does not then a new RT is likely.

Australian and New Zealand CX-60 owners can also update their Remote Tuner Unit software successfully like Aussie forum member 'bitshifted'.

New Diesel Inline 6 Update

Details are a little vague as I cant get the full list of things that it addresses from the workshop portal

(I believe this is the to fix the common issue of the car rapidly slowing down when the vehicle in front moves to the left lane and slows down)
- DPS - not identifying driver
- Engine Warning Light randomly comes on
  • Phantom audible alerts and unintentional emergency braking when reversing
  • Warnings on dash when braking (TSC/DSC)
