Quietness, ride comfort, shifting feel, and other general behavior that was unpopular in the initial model will be improved to conform to the CX-80.
Unpleasant bouncing behavior caused by the rear's up and down movement being difficult to converge will be suppressed.
Engine restart from i-stop in MHEV vehicles will be changed from the assist drive motor to the starter motor.
Orders will begin in Japan in November.

@chero.60

to conform to CX-80? You mean the CX-80 which is using the same parts as CX-60 and doesn’t have any improvements? Tbh it’s hard to believe… but the thing is… we don’t need to hope or believe anything. CX-80 is already tested and it’s the same garbage as CX-60

Yesterday, I test drove the CX-80, and there was a big difference between it and the early CX-60. The bounce behavior, shift shock, damping, and quietness of the CX-80 were much better. The dealer service explained to me with documents that the next CX-60 will also have similar improvements, so I think we can expect an improved version. The old shitty mechanic is saying stupid things, but no one trusts him except for the most fanatical followers.

MY2025

Added and changed soundproofing material around the front seats (reduced diesel knock sound).
Added soundproofing material to the sides of the cargo area.
Changed the phase angle of the universal joint connecting the steering shaft and EPS unit.
Changes to the front dampers, front knuckles, rear dampers, rear suspension, rear stabilizer, rear bumper rubber, etc.
Changes to EPS control.
Changes to AWD control.
For special edition vehicles only, starting from i-stop has been changed to a starter motor, and fuel efficiency has improved by 0.5km/L as there is no longer any need to leave lithium battery capacity for restarting.

I bought a CX-60 PHEV Homura in early 2023. The car was full of problems. Steering sticking, the suspension is not well designed for the vehicle's size, weight and positioning aspirations, the gearbox a disaster, rattling noises inside the cabin from all locations on rough roads are worse than a Renault Clio, the insulation from the window frames and doors is very bad, etc, etc. Very bad experience indeed. After 5 recalls + changing of the rear dumpers, updated software on the gearbox, and a new steering system, I can say that it has improved 30% the suspension, 90% de gearbox, and 100% the steering (so far). All the other problems remain. The worst is definitely the suspension. This car needs a pneumatic suspension to take it to the next level of quality. The quality of interior mounting needs to improve. Too many noises make the whole experience very low quality. The front seats are also not comfortable with almost no side support.
I still like the design interior and exterior and the quality of the materials inside. The power train is good for the price it costs and delivers good value for the money.
This has the potential to be a good product with a completely different suspension, more comfortable seats and improved insulation for doors and windows. The whole experience needs to be more premium and so far it isn't.
It was the first time I ever bought a Mazda, coming from Volvo, Alfa Romeo and BMW. It is a big disappointment and I am switching back to Volvo again.

This is a special edition for Japan based on the Exclusive Sports. Its name is the CX-60 Trekker.

I traded in from an early model MY23 CX-60 to the improved MY25 model. The vehicle has been greatly improved. The negative aspects of the early model have been significantly improved, including improved straight-line stability and cornering stability when driving at high speeds, reduced unpleasant bounce, reduced shock from strong inputs, reduced unpleasant vibrations from the transmission, and quieter interior noise. There is still room for improvement, but with this I don't think there will be any major complaints.

Has anyone driven a UK example yet? they may not have mad it here yet.
Interesting that they have put the UK price up and also changed the option packs and created a 'plus' model with all three (now two packs included as a slight discount) - Mine is going back, i really love the 'car' just not the constant issues, almost all of which appear to be being addressed with this revision.
