Mazda is a freaking joke 🤦‍♂️ just picked up the car after hybrid malfunction, literally 50m down the street… same issue again. New battery etc.
just speechless
Unbelievable. Probably something wrong with the dealer? I have noticed engineers somewhat lost with the car. I am aware the Schuster Automobile is very capable (Ansbach).

Yes, I know. I have an appointment next Monday @schuster. But here goes the next Mazda joke.. as you know, every time after service you get the mobility warranty. Mine was over due 3 days ago. they said, that’s fine, we gonna do service and some repairs next Monday. It is not possible earlier due to missing parts. Fine so far… now this peace of junk broke down twice this week and Mazda + Mazda Europe service says, bad luck.. you have to pay towing buy yourself, no mobility warranty and no one can do anything. Schuster was trying to talk to them and explain the situation but they simply don’t care.

After 3 brilliant CX5's I 'traded up' to a CX60 3.3d AWD Takumi. I have had 7 months of issues which my amazing dealer has tried their best with. Replacement suspension parts, steering fault, stop start problem, persistent jerky transmission, wireless phone charger not working, paddle shifts revert to auto after 8 seconds, unable to update maps.........I have had enough!! Fortunately my dealer also sells Lexus. I am saying goodbye to Mazda today!

Similar story in the UK, Mazda UK are absolutely abhorrent to deal with when your issue becomes complicated to their (and the dealers) repeated failures to repair a car. They now use the 'ignore' route when trying to communicate with them. One of the most tragic times was when the car was in for the Low 12V Warning and a phantom battery drain for six weeks....the day I collected it and opened the door, the Low 12V Warning came on :)

Did you take a big hit?

Can't go wrong with Lexus. I drive a PHEV from Mazda since end 2022 without an issue. It seems the dealer has fixed the issues before they came up. Of course they fixed the transmission software, replaced dampers and improved insulation on the doors. I hope I do not start to get issues as well. For now the first 36.000 km can't complain but what a read in the forum makes me nervous. Anyway, Lexus has a much greater chance of going well. Enjoy it.

Thanks, I picked up a ex demonstrator Lexus NX350h Premium Pack this morning (from the same dealer that I have always purchased my Mazda's from). It's a delight to drive and with Lexus's enviable reputation for reliability and customer service I feel reassured that I'll not be at the dealers door too often. I can't fault my dealer, they have fixed most things (all the major faults) but i never know what's coming next so my confidence in the brand has been badly damaged. It's a sad day though, I really enjoyed my CX5's.

So had the failure again today after 10m driving with full charge.
First time i had last may and lost a flight...SW was update and now? In summer car would NOT drive more than 30km/h. Today i can drive full speed at least.

Called the dealer and he told me to continue drive untill car become undrivable and ADAC would then intervine:they have nobody to look at the car for 1 week....

Feel NOT comfortable in driving though...
Plus some other things stop working like the rear wiper and hands free lock/unlock
....

It seems to me as an electronic failure as it indicates do many unrelated faults at the same time. However the official recommendation form Mazdaabout the hybrid system failing is to not drive the car at all.

Best would be to buy the car and keep it in front of your door, don’t drive it at all. This is how we can avoid any issue with those cars 😂

Hello
I have a double update on this: dealer cleared the error yesterday and since he had no better personell available he returned the car pointing the finger to an auto shut down during chsrhing assuming a peak of voltage/current.
After 10km car came up with engine malfuction. This morning dealer checked again saying catalithyc converter needs further examinatiin in 2 week. Just ignore the amber engine fault..
So i will as car seems ok for driving.

This is what the dealer told me.....no idea how to check. Will ask in few minutes. If not than i will really claim to them: never clear what they do.
Well, I guess that if you had the last factory recall updates for this issue installed then you would be aware of it. 😉

I never had any errors like this and I have had the last software updates installed for this. (I got a letter from Mazda acoording a factory recall for this)

I have done all recalls and even every TSB i experienced and saw a TSB for. Onfortunately for TSB you do not get a report in hand.
Never heard there was a recall for the cathalityc converter out nor a TSB.
The car is drinking like an Irish on march 17th.
