It was just a straight swap, stock rims and tires. Nothing was done to anything else.
I understand, but never the less the tyres will have values written on them stock or not, at least then I know what size tyres I might have to buy. The wheels themselves are a different story, I need to find and buy the right offset for the car in a style that suits.

Next time you are with your car just take a photo of the tyre info like the details I posted previously.

CX 70 glitch to report on my new 2025 turbo S with 300 miles. First post.
After going through all the menus and setup function making changes in the driveway after a drive, I went back out for another spin, I could not find my new favorite screen showing the regen power flow In the information menu ?
Driving slow out of the neighborhood CX drivetrain feeling clunky. Speed away at first light hit 4th and begin steady speed and drivetrain starts hunting for gears/regen on off real bad- Oh no.
Pull over, engine off/on - Wallah regen screen is back again in information menu.
Pull away everything back to normal.
Software issue ? Missing screen appears to have been an indication of a software hang up Affecting drivetrain.

Overall first impression with new CX very good. tight and quiet so far
The istop can get carried away, was surprised to have engine shutoff so often while cruising country roads, My AC fan speed fluctuates noticeably often while in Auto. 1st to 2nd shift has the reported small lag at low throttle. Drove to work today, only 4th trip, istop off / sport mode engaged CX felt smooth, growled a bit, should be a great ”wagon”

So, looks like the rattle coming from the rear seat is fixed after 5!!! visits to dealership. What a nightmare. Had to prove that the rattle was coming from the seatbelt assembly inside the seatback since they were clueless. They attempted to fix it by attaching some felt which of course did nothing since the rattle was coming from the inside of the seatbelt box. On the second visit they again did nothing, except of tearing off the hook securing leather upholstery to the frame. Told me nothing about it, and when I confronted them, told me that this hook is not needed, that I am too demanding, and that Mazda would not replace the seat just because of missing hook. One more week of arguing with the dealer and Mazda and I gave up - got the similar hook on Amazon and sewed it back myself. Few days later brought car back to replace the seatbelt assembly, and was eventually told that they couldn't figure out how to replace a seatbelt without destroying the seat, and Mazda now approved them to replace the whole rear seat. Got the new seat installed a week later, and the rattle seems to be gone now. Hoping it will not come back again after some time.

Ok Everyone - another item for the CX-70 issues list. Curious if any of you are experiencing the same issues...
A/C system on Auto does not function properly when it's cold outdoors. It may be 35-40 degrees but the sun is out and I am warm driving the vehicle. I have A/C set on auto at 69 and lower and it it won't blow cold air. This is highly annoying. Only way I can get the A/C to blow cold air is to put system in manual mode. Never had this issue with any other vehicle. Thanks.
I have this same issue. I have a cx50 also and the ac is much colder at the same auto settings. Did you find a fix?

I'm going to add my cx70 problems just to sort of log them and maybe report on fixes if they come. I've put 2500 miles on mine and the list is growing however. We are looking into getting rid of it now.

Noisy suspension. Rattles like crazy going over minor bumps.
Phone induction charger is faulty. Works maybe 25% of the time.
Dirt ingress from the rear doors is getting bad. Its filthy back there. Dealer fix is more weatherstripping but that only solved part of the issue. I set a go pro inside to watch what happens and as it turns out the area just below the door catch's all sort of debris so when you open the door it creates a vacuum and sucks all that debris into the cabin. I rolled down my window and watched it happen too. Makes a massive mess.
So much wind noise now. Its upsettingly loud on the highway. Its both the sunroof and one of the windows.
My safety systems are over reactive. Lane assist makes getting off the highway a nightmare since a lot of the exits around here used dashed lines to guide the lanes over so the system fights you when you try to move over and blinkers don't cancel it which you think it would right?
The blind spot system goes nuts on the highway. It registers any guardrail or even signs when you are traveling in the outer lanes. Its constantly warning you of vehicles being around you but none are.
The front camera is deactivating most safety systems in the cold. Morning frost obstructs it so the system goes into safe mode I guess. Takes about an hour to fix itself which isn't good obviously. Recommendation is to park it in a garage but I don't have one.
Transmission grind when shifting gears is now a thing. When we bought this one I test drove several and picked the one with the smoothest shifting because believe it or not from the factory many shifted differently.
Maybe a secondary of that is the mhev system is becoming noticably more intrusive to the point that passengers ask what's wrong with the car. Its really noticeable on slow take offs. Istop deactivation used to help but not anymore. Take offs have like 3 phases now when you try to accelerate. At first nothing then a surge then a drop in power then another surge in power. Its very difficult to drive slowly and borderline dangerous at times. Mother in law now refused to drive it because of this. That's not great.
Its getting stuck in snow. A lot. The rear just spins and the front either doesn't sense it or is waiting for a signal to do something. It acts as a rwd vehicle too much. The fronts only start to work once the rear gets traction which is of course useless in snow or ice so the rear just keep spinning. Its very annoying. Off-road mode makes it way worse.
There is a very loud fan noise now under the car near the driver's side and I have no idea what it could be. It just turned on one day at idle and never went away. It is much louder than the engine running at idle so it's easy to hear. AC and heater are off so I don't know what's going on. Some have suggested it's a fan to cool the mhev battery but it's always on and its cold out.
Stereo has static on every station. Every single one of them. To be fair it was like this as new, I just thought I was in a bad signal area but I wasn't, it was the actual stereo.
The brakes are randomly soft or touchy. I think this is because of the Regen brakes but it can't be in correct working condition. Braking is too inconsistent from when it was new.
Automatic headlights now just do what they want. They are switching on and off at random, even when I am the only car on the road.

Edited 12\30\25 for more problems at the bottom of the list.
I am having a lot of issues. I was backing up sensors are not working properly in the dark due to the weather. Also, I can't turn off the lane alerts, or they will not stay off until I turn them back on. The engine is very lot loud, sounds like it's running on high. The i-stop drops the rpm down while driving, and it feels like the engine is about to shut down.

I have 4300 miles on our new CX-70. So far, all of the annoyances appear to be firmware-related. The biggest annoyance is not having a key-based driver personalization system. I am 6'4, my wife is 5'7. When she drives the car, the seat is left in her position. I have to squeeze into the driver's seat and wait for facial recognition in order to move the seat back. That is utterly ridiculous and unacceptable. There are also problems with it only partially setting my positions. Many times it will not put the steering wheel in the proper position, even though when I got in, it showed "Welcome, Kevin" and then still brought up the driver personalization screen showing my name selected (which quickly goes away). Then, I have to bring it back up and 're-confirm' my name before it will adjust the steering wheel.

As others have said, the wireless charger frequently says 'unavailable' while my phone is sitting there on the charger. I took a long trip, and it probably happened over 100 times. I also lost my Android Auto once while driving, and I could not restore it, even by rebooting the infotainment system. I had to pull over and turn off the car.

I have an Android, and my wife has an iPhone. Sometimes, while I am driving using Android Auto, it will try to connect to her iPhone. And when switching between the two, it does not always work.

We also have Sirius both in the car and on our phones, and the system fights with us to go to Mazda's music system when Android Auto is up (I prefer to use the car system when in the car).

My wife is constantly complaining about how the iPhone interface works. She said the CX-9 was much better. I think we both wish we had our CX-9 back, but unfortunately it got totaled.

As others have said, there are also a lot of issues with the safety system doing stupid stuff (like warning me of a post in front of me while I was backing out of a parking spot, or warning about a car that is two lanes over when I want to move one lane closer to it).

I am a firmware engineer, and to me it feels like there are a lot of multi-tasking-related and timing-related bugs in the system, especially with the driver personalization system.

If you are reading this, Mazda, please pay attention. I filled out one of your 45-minute surveys and requested that you contact me by phone about these issues, but haven't ever been contacted. If these issues are not addressed, this will be the end of my long-term relationship with Mazda (this is my 7th Mazda). I really want to like this vehicle, but when I am given a reminder of why I shouldn't almost every time I drive it, it makes it rather difficult.

I really sympathise with your situation, it's so easy to make a reliable key based personalized system, but no, they went with a camera based system that barely works. I've turned it off completely for the past year or so,even after updates it never worked properly.

The rest of the car (CX-60 top model) 3.3l petrol is full of bugs and issues, I keep getting fobbed off by the dealership regarding my charger, off/on constantly on any journey. They tell me my phone is too hot, but it happens straight away when the phone is cold.

I bought two brand new Mazda's, but I'm not going near them again. This car will be gone when I can afford to replace it in January.

At least our Dealership was honest about the wireless charger--they agreed that it is pretty much useless due to poor design. I have shut it off & don't even attempt wireless charging anymore.

This is a design issue. Mazda could not have put the hazard lights button in a worse place if they tried. I've inadvertently turned on my hazards while interacting with the touchscreen on many occasions. Did they even bother to do any usability testing on this vehicle? It would have been just as easy to find just above the climate controls, rather than just below the TOUCHCREEN!!!!

Huge fail. I have to wonder if the design of this vehicle was turned over to a DEI group of US engineers.
