Hi,

I read some interesting threads about almost everything regarding the CX60. Reading all the post I noticed a difference in the period of warranty. I would like to know which difference there is worldwide. So please share it with me. I will start:

The Netherlands: 3 years or 100.000 km. (Battery 8 years or 160.000) Both which comes first. Additional warranty two years. € 730.

Germany; 6 years factory warranty or 150.000 KM.
8 years on the battery or 160.000 KM.
12 Years against rust.
You can extend the warranty after 6 years up to another 4 years, but that costs 1729€ and is still under the max 150.000 KM rule.

UK - 3 Years / 60,000 mile
Battery - 8 years, 100,000 miles

Option to 'extend' at cost, but based on a quote system

We generally get poor deals on vehicle warranties in the UK and , we just 'accept it' in a typical English manner.

On our 2, we didn't extend the warranty. And we didn't regret. However it was much cheaper than for the CX60 now. Maybe they don't trust the CX60 that much?
Mazda 2: 2 years extra: Within the first month after buying or 1.500 km: € 360,- within three years € 405,-
CX60: Within the first month after buying or 1.500 km: € 730,-, within three years: € 832.

So worldwide there is a different policy from the importer. Some extend the warranty to make the brand or even the type more attractive.

Yesterday here in one of the newspaper an owner was surprised about and found out the even the prices are different in Europe. He calculated his car was 3000 euros more expensive than the same in Austria. Well I guess we have to live with it. One Europe is still a long way to go.

Sorry, but this is no longer correct.
Warranty is now 6 years and/or 150.000 km. This was confirmed to me when receiving my car in January
