I just wanted to Add my comment here at the Start of this TSB Compilation for the Mazda CX-60.
If your Mazda and or its Production Date is within any TSB listed here in thread does not necessarily mean your car will be defective or have any future problem.
TSBs are to inform Dealers on a potential issue if it occurs and what "a" fix or repair method is.
Majority of owners never see some of these issues.

TSBs are NOT A RECALL to repair, Recalls are always Safety Related and car owners usually receive a registered letter in Mail from Mazda Distribution in your country telling you what to do to address Recall issue.
Please if you have any issues discuss with Dealer Service Dept FIRST. Then if no satisfaction quote a TSB number you have found, again remember each Mazda Continent has a different numbering system and Date for their TSBs.
Obviously below is for CX-60 in EU/UK/AU/NZ sold markets.

ELECTRICAL CONCERN AND OR MULTIPLE DTC's DUE TO AFTERMARKET DEVICE(s)
Aftermarket Accessories or non Mazda Device may be the cause of an electrical concern either a DTC or IC Warning or car feature not working.

THE CAUSE: Due to inadequate PCM/BECM control management of the usable power of Lithium-ion Battery (LIB), cell deterioration of the LIB has been accelerated under specific driving conditions.
THE FIX:
1. Replace the M Hybrid Boost BATTERY with modified one according to workshop manual.
2. Verify that the BECM calibration file name currently displayed on the ECU FILENAME screen either matches the number specified below or contains a later suffix.

BECM
K628-67ZH2-G

3.Reprogram the PCM with the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS), using Mazda Diagnostic And Repair Software (MDARS).
(The PCM and TCM will be reprogrammed automatically depending on current calibration file level.)
If current calibration file name in the ECU FILENAME screen is the same as shown in Calibration Files Information or with later suffix, reprogramming is not necessary.

Note:
There is a little more involved, however I need to retain some discretion as I do not want owners to Panic or Bombard their Mazda Dealer about this concern or this recall.
As this Recall is about a local (EU) Accessory acquired and made by another manufacturer it is good to see Mazda is on the front foot and always looks after its customers.

So what do you do, if you are mechanically minded you could have a look yourself but DO NOT Remove your wheels, however I suggest you wait for the registered mail to come to you informing you on what you should do.

Some of the outcomes will mean complete replacement of all wheels and some just an inspection and or new collars.

This Recall DOES NOT Apply to original wheels fitted to the car from Japan.

This will be welcome news for some CX-60 owners.

Applicable Model: CX-60 (KH) PHEV

TSB NUMBER: R049/23 on 13th July 2023.

Some owners may complain about 1-2 shift shock at low speeds.

Mazda Japan has just released a software update for the TCM (Transmission Control Module).
Plus a reprogramming of the IC or Instrument Cluster.

This update can only be done @ your Mazda Dealer using MDARS diagnostic software and VCM II.
See the VINs applicable from (last 6 digits) 100001 to 128065 - or up to Production Date Mar. 7, 2023.

I WANT TO STRESS DON'T GO INTO YOUR DEALER and DEMAND AN UPDATE, YOU MUST
TELL THEM YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A VERY BAD 1st TO 2nd GEAR "SHIFT SHOCK" AND THEN IF YOUR VIN IS BELOW 128065 and then Dealer hesitates you could say you understand there is a recent Bulletin out from
Mazda to do a software update and quote TSB Number above.

CAUSE
Improper AT self-learning logic may cause the shift shock.

MASS PRODUCTION CHANGE
Control software of the TCM has been modified.

The repair is all software related so I wont go into those details, however there is some initial Transmission Learning or re-learning and you might experience a slight difference or feel to what you are used to, plus if you maintain a speed of over 200kh for more than 5 minutes you might see, repeat might see a warning on dash about sustained high speed use to protect your transmission because of Auto Trans fluid pressures and Temperatures plus also depends on external weather temperatures (heat).
The re-learn is only a few drive cycles and in most cases you wont notice any change apart from a smoother 1 to 2 gear shift.

SIDE-NOTE: I dont know if Dealer ever said this and I dont know your cars mileage, but There Is a "period of drive cycles" that the TCM computer re-learns AFTER Software update or when you first drive car off the showroom floor. Roughly about 6 separate cycles, that is a driving and use of transmission ( car fully hot), then car fully off, and complete engine cool-down is one Drive Cycle. Drive Cycle TCM re-learn above applies to all those who have the TCM computer update done @ Mazda Dealer.

Applies ONLY to CX-60 (KH) with SKYACTIV-D 3.3.

Font Electronic device Circle Window Display device

(1) SCR Warning Light (Selective Catalytic Reduction).

(2) SCR System Malfunction.

Speed Will Be Limited in xxxx km.

No Start in **** km.

Have the vehicle inspected for excessive emission.

NOTE: The figure shows Italian version message.

DESCRIPTION
This TSB provides diagnosis procedures when DTC "P20F4:00" and/or "P20F5:00" related to urea consumption are NOT stored in SCR unit [DCU (Dosing Control Unit)], while DTC: P2BAF:00 is stored alone, despite SCR system warning light illuminated and warning messages indicated at the same time in the instrument cluster.

For vehicles produced after September 5, 2023, necessary drive-cycle to store DTC "P20F4:00" and/or "P20F5:00" has been modified to two drive-cycles from the previous one drive-cycle.

If DTC: "P20F4:00" and/or "P20F5:00" are temporarily stored as pending DTC in one drive-cycle, any DTC will NOT be stored in SCR system while "P2BAF:00" is stored in PCM to show "Inducement" function activated.

DTC Code Number and Meanings
P20F4:00 [DCU] Urea consumption too low
P20F5:00 [DCU] Urea consumption too high
P2BAF:00 [PCM] NOx system driver inducement active (NOx system malfunction)
P1640:00 [PCM] Powertrain DTCs available in EACM

While I have included the DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) which a Dealer uses and Test off these codes for most CX-60 Diesel Owners will mean little, there is also a complicated Logic Chart included with TSB that I will not include as I beleive it wont achieve anything as much of this testing requires the use of MDARS Diagnostics (ONLY for Dealer USE and Dealer Portal) and must also run this Repeatable Verification Procedure below.

This Logic chart depends on when Car was first made and will depend on if one or two drive Cycle set-up are needed.
CX-60 3.3D Procedure 1, VIN up to 143053 (last 6 digits); Procedure 2, VIN from
143056 Prod. Sept 5th, 2023.

If DTC P2BAF:00 is stored when checking DTC with MDARS, temporary clogging or leakage may occur.
In that case, verify according to the following "Repeatability Verification Procedure".

NOTE: If DTC except for P2BAF:00 is stored, diagnose the DTC according to the workshop manual.

Repeatability Verification Procedure

1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
2. Perform compulsory diesel particulate filter regeneration using the M-MDS.
(Refer to "SCR INDUCEMENT INSPECTION SERVICE FUNCTION" in workshop manual).
3. Start the engine and idle it for 5 min. (See "DTC INSPECTION" in workshop manual).
4. Perform the DTC inspection for the EACM.
NOTE: If DTC is recorded, diagnose it according to the workshop manual.

Obviously more of the Detail of these Repair Methods in RVP are listed exactly in the 3.3D Workshop Manual.
Also worth noting as this TSB does not go into much detail as to exactly why these dash warning lamps occur and if the clearing of Stored DTCs will prevent a return of these warnings as there appears to be no parts renewal or any software update mods.

As I have said in the past it is my experience that so much of these issues for some owners is the lack of DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) Regeneration because of the lack of vehicle use (distance), and yes there are some who will never see this issue and others that will and probably will more than once and again IMO goes back to the decision to purchase a diesel and if it is really suitable for your current vehicle use.
It does not add to the discussion that ones past diesel brands or use of any diesel never having this problem as every few years the Euro 0x Emission Regulations change and so does the tech which is usually always of Bosch designed hardware and software.

I have a feeling that there will be more information added or modified to this TSB.

PLEASE NOTE: This TSB is all new and do not be surprised if Dealers are not aware as like in any job they will have to investigate and look at their Technical Bulletins and Advisory.

POWER WINDOW AUTO FUNCTION DOES NOT WORK

Applies to ALL Generation 7 Mazda's made for 2019 Model Year ONWARDS

DESCRIPTION:

When the power windows are operated many times without being fully closed, small errors of the window position sensor may accumulate and cause improper operation of the jam-safe function.

To reduce the risk of this occurrence, the AUTO function is disabled if the power window is operated 10 consecutive times without being fully closed (turning the ignition OFF and then ON does not reset the counting).

If the power window is fully closed before the 10th time, the counting restarts and the AUTO function is NOT deactivated.

If your Power Window AUTO Function is deactivated and therefore will NOT Fully AUTO CLOSE when you pull up the Window Button/Switch then the following EASY procedure will Reset the FULL CLOSE Count in your Mazda.

ALSO Refer to the Cars Owner’s Manual or Workshop Manual.

How to Re-Activate the Window Switch AUTO function:
1. Switch the ignition ON.

2. Press the power window switch DOWN and OPEN THE WINDOW 100% Completely (then Finger OFF Switch!).

3. NEXT Pull the power window switch UP to CLOSE THE WINDOW 100% Completely and keep pulling ON the Switch Up for about TWO (2) Seconds more (DO NOT REMOVE the FINGER SWITCH UP POSITION for the 2 Seconds or slightly more).

Your Power Window Auto Function Timer reset should be done and working as normal.

To prevent the Auto Function from disabling in the future just make sure you fully down then fully up to shut window 100% every now and again, it is the partial up and downs (not fully closed or fully open which sets off the count timer and will disable after the 10th time.

---------------------------------------

Also for most Markets IF you Renew or Change your Cars Battery you will have to perform this Window RESET Procedure.

Also a RESET Procedure of your Power Steering when Battery is renewed or removed (to stop the yellow flashing Light in IC) is to Start Engine (car stationary), then Fully Turn the Steering Wheel to Left LOCK then FULLY turn Steering Wheel to RIGHT Full Lock, the flashing light should go away.

You may also see a solid on or flashing yellow ABS (brake) Light in IC, this is to do with your cars Stability Control Systems after a battery removal or renewal, to stop flashing light turn engine fully off and remove key fob, then restart car, it should be all ok.

CX-60 (KH) - Passenger Side outer Door Mirror Glass tilts down

TSB NUMBER: R045/23 EU/UK OCT 31st, 2023.

TSB ISSUE DATE: 31/10/2023

DESCRIPTION
Some customers may experience that the passenger-side outer door mirror glass tilts down when unlocking and opening the driver's door.

CAUSE
Outer door mirror glass position adjustment may not be performed correctly due to changes in vehicle power conditions.

MASS PRODUCTION CHANGE
Control software of the Door-electrical supply unit (passenger's side) has been modified.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Reprogram the DOOR_ESU_P with the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS), using Mazda Diagnostic And Repair Software (MDARS).
After that, the DOOR_ESU_D is automatically reprogrammed as well.

Color Discrepancies in 360° View Monitor Images

TSB NUMBER: E016/23 EU/UK/RU
I expect North American TSB soon.
November 13th, 2023.

ALL Mazda's with a 360 View Monitor / Screen.

DESCRIPTION

Some Owners may complain about color discrepancies (brightness differences) of the image displayed on the screen when using the 360°view monitor.
As this phenomenon is not a system failure.

CAUSE
The 360°view monitor is a system that gives a whole picture of the vehicle surroundings to the driver by combining the pictures captured by the 4 cameras installed respectively in the front, rear, right and left sides of the vehicle.
Each camera has color adjustment function (white balance) that operates independently from each other, which can result in color discrepancy when the combined picture is displayed on the screen, especially when one of the cameras captures more green objects than the remaining cameras.

Car position to the sun and or dirt or water on camera surface can also contribute to a varying images on monitor.

This is not considered a fault and there is also no repair method.

Finally some good news on Side and Front Radar and FCTA plus many more Updates, Too many to list everything in detail which frankly is pointless and these SSPs or SPECIAL SERVICE PROGRAMS are ONLY Dealer Done.
Want to Stress this Only came out Today, Give your Dealer time before you contact as one is also a RECALL.
CAMPAIGN # AP050A is CX-60 (KH) T3R/H3T – PCM, TCM and Side Radar reprogramming.
1) Recall (AP049A) – PCM and VMC reprogramming
2) SSP (AP050A) – PCM, TCM and Side Radar reprogramming (this SSP).

CX-60
M Hybrid (T3R/H3T) JMZ KH**** 01 112067 – 140242.
Made From 28 September 2022 through to 27 July 2023.
THE ISSUES...in this TSB there are 5 separate ones.

Concern 5:
Unintentional i-ACTIVSENSE warning concern
On certain CX-60 vehicles, while driving near any objects with high reflection intensity (such as guardrail, oncoming vehicle etc.), the Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA) may often operate falsely, and in rare cases, the Smart Braking System (SBS) may unintendedly activate if certain conditions are met, causing unexpected warning.
Causal factor: Inappropriate software (angle correction value) of side radar sensor.
Repair of Concern 5.
Reprogram the software of side radar sensor with the M-MDS, using MDARS.
If the data record of side radar sensor is lost, replace the side radar sensor with improved one.
The repair must be performed on all subject vehicles at no charge to the vehicle owners.
There maybe the need of a SIDE RADAR SENSOR to be Replaced.
Concern 1:
PCM may incorrectly detect an abnormality of intake pressure sensor/exhaust pressure sensor, making the MIL turned on and DTC P0105/P0470, result in DTC and possible poor acceleration on demand.
MDARS Software Update.
Concern 2:
Check engine light ON with DTC P049B:00
On certain CX-60 vehicles, during light acceleration at low rpm with medium load, such as when climbing hill on a freeway etc.
MDARS Software Update.
Concern 3:
Check engine light ON with DTC P213B:00 under freezing temperatures.
Condensed water generated around the LP-EGR valve during driving may freeze after hours of parking under freezing temperatures,
MDARS Software Update.
Concern 4:
Shift/Drive feeling concerns
On certain CX-60 vehicles, the customers may feel uncomfortable about the following driving conditions.
*Poor driving feeling at low speed
*Shift shock and jerky feeling when shifting/driving.
Reprogram the software of TCM and perform initial learning with the M-MDS, using MDARS.
NOTE: On Concern 4, the TCM must go through a process of relearning.
Explanations to customers:
To improve shift feel, the vehicle learns the timing of engaging the clutch while driving.
This reprogramming will improve the shift feel and optimize by learning.
However, the learning values would be reset to initial original one.
Once the learning values are initialized, a slight shift shock might be felt intermittently, however by proceeding the learning by driving, it will be improved, but it may take a few days or drive cycles.

CX-60 (KH) T3R/H3T – PCM and VMC reprogramming
CAMPAIGN NUMBER AP049A
CX-60 M Hybrid (T3R / H3T)
JMZ KH**** 01 112067 - 136744, From 28 September 2022 through 21 June 2023.
CONDITION OF CONCERN
Some of the subject vehicles are subject to all concerns, and some are subject to one or two concerns.
Concern 1:
Engine fails to start with DTC P033F:00.
ISSUE
On certain CX-60 vehicles, engine may fail to start while driving or at a stop, at the situation when the engine start is expected right after i-stop.
The DTC P033F:00-PCM may be stored in memory.
*P033F:00: Injection cylinder discrimination system: misidentification
Causal factor:
The PCM may incorrectly detect an abnormality of injection cylinder discrimination system (DTC P033F:00) due to inappropriate failure detection logic of PCM.
FIX:
MDARS Software Update.
Concern 2:
Start-up control software concern (Impossible to restart/drive).
Issue:
On certain CX-60 vehicles, If the engine is restarted (“push button start” is pressed) in a short period (approx. 8 seconds) after IG OFF, the relay circuit of Mild Hybrid battery may not be connected due to inappropriate start-up instructions from PCM, and a message of hybrid system malfunction may be displayed in the multi-information display and check engine warning light may illuminate. The fail-safe may activate, making the shift position secured in “N” range, and the vehicle may result in “impossible to drive” condition.
Under such conditions, the vehicle cannot restart within approx. 90 seconds after the vehicle stops (IG OFF) even if the “push button start” is pressed (IG ON).
Causal factor:
Inappropriate start-up control software of PCM.
FIX:
MDARS Software Update.
Concern 3:
Rear-view and 360° images may not display.
Issue:
CX-60 vehicles equipped with the subject rearview monitor (with dynamic guide lines) / 360° view monitor are involved.
On certain CX-60 vehicles, the images of the front-, side-, and rearview cameras may flicker and, in some cases may no longer appear on the center display monitor.
Loss of front-, side-, and rearview camera images when in reverse and/or using the 360° monitor can increase the risk of a crash.
Note: 360° camera monitor will only operate under 9.3 MPH (15 KPH).
Causal factor:
Improper processing logic in the View Monitor Control (VMC) module may cause image deterioration.
FIX:
Reprogram the VMC module with improved software with the M-MDS, using MDARS, which will properly reset data memory when restarting the system, and camera images will appear properly on the center display monitor.

These 3 repairs must be performed on all subject vehicles at no charge to the vehicle owners.

Concern 1:

Failsafe Logic May Cause Total Loss of Drive Power
(Only CX-60 PHEV)
On certain CX-60 vehicles, the engine and electric motor may shut down with little to no warning in failsafe mode. (Failsafe mode is intended to protect major components from serious damage.) An engine and electric motor shutdown can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Causal factor:
An increase in the PHEV system inverter temperature above a specified threshold will activate the failsafe mode. Logic of the failsafe mode is controlled by software in the Powertrain Control Module or PCM.
The software program stops the engine and electric motor from operating.
The FIX:
Reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and Engine Control Module (ECM) with MDARS.

Reason there are repeats of the same or similar SSP is because of the different CX-60 Model range and VIN Range, there is also flow charts associated with these bulletins which is really pointless for owners to view.

Worth noting that the long awaited Repair for the Sudden Braking Issue and use of SBS is also here with a fix which is mainly all MDARS and Software updating with a possible Radar re-aiming by your Dealer,
HOWEVER there maybe a few owners who will need their Side Radar Sensor(s) renewed and I bet there will be delays of new Parts Stock so be understanding of your Dealer, they don't make the parts or have any control over imports or supply of parts out of MMC Japan. That is MME/MUK etc job who is relying on Mazda Japan. I understand MMC are expecting about 3% (or just under) of all CX-60's will need a new Radar Sensor, meaning 97% wont.

Also for AUSTRALIAN and New Zealand CX-60 owners, UNLESS you are experiencing these issues then don't be too concerned, remember CX-60 into Australia/NZ were almost made and released a year later than Europe. Don't rely on these VINs but a better indication are the BUILD DATES, if your CX-60 was made after these Bulletin build dates then your CX-60 should not be included (no guarantee though).

Driver’s Side outer Mirror Glass vibrates when driving at high Speed on bumpy Road

TI-3181-23

November 27th EUROPE AND UK and RU CX-60 and CX-90.
This TI or Technical Information and is not technically a TSB, However, This is for Europe/UK (Left and Right Hand drive). Not for North America, yet.

Applicable model: CX-60 (KH) and CX-90 (KK) with auto-dimming outer mirror.

DESCRIPTION
Some owners may complain that the driver’s side outer mirror glass vibrates when driving at high speeds (approximately 100 km/hour {60 mph} or more) on bumpy roads such as road joints, coarse-grained paved roads or rough roads.

CAUSE
Insufficient hardness of the adhesive tape between the outer mirror glass holder and the mirror glass causes the vibration of the mirror glass.

Hi All,
I posted in CX-70 Section a thread on your cars Remote Tuner, here is the link.
Look at it, if you want to update yourself see Message .

I show you what the Remote Tuner basically does, and the guys in CX-90 forum say their Radio and FM is smoother and faster with software update, yes you can do.

Plus I can't verify yet but I think this expensive little unit is also the main culprit for excess 12V Battery Drain that early CX-30 were plagued with.

ALL GEN 7s need this software update, many need a new RT unit but Not the CX-60, CX-70, or CX-90 if yours accepts the update, if it does not then a new RT is likely.
