Hi I had my steering (on my CX60) upgraded just before Christmas 2023 and everything was virtually as it should be however I am now beginning to experience a steering problem again which is sticking and you have to keep correcting it. Has anyone else experienced this since having the upgrade fitted? It is so annoying and extremely frustrating. It is not as if it was a cheap car
Yup, sticky steering is back. Had mine done at approx. 15k in Feb 2024 and now we're at 29k and especially on longer turns in highway driving the problems are noticable again. In a different thread here some people were also complaining about the issue coming back.

Are these complaints about the return of sticky steering related to the spring and grease replacement? Mine had a new steering box fitted and so far everything is fine, perhaps the spring bodge effect is not working long term.
Imho there are two options:
1. Mazda changed something in production which they have not applied to the older cars, there just hoping for the best with the cheap solution. Then there is still hope for us.
2. Only the spring has changed in production. Then why would a new rack be better, if the new spring still creates the issue? It might just last longer, but will get the defect eventually.

On the other hand, I really start to wonder why some cars have all the faults while others have nothing. Could there be a common cause to a major part of the problems…?
