Sticky steering started again for me about a month ago.

Exactly the same as last time, 30-40 minutes in, big gloops of stick and resistance when steering. If it goes the same way, this will get worse and worse..

Are these complaints about the return of sticky steering related to the spring and grease replacement? Mine had a new steering box fitted and so far everything is fine, perhaps the spring bodge effect is not working long term.

New rack and the spring modification being done off the car in my case. I wonder if the steering box, where the spring assembly lives, I believe it comes complete with the rack, although not entirely sure, just what one of the technicians mentioned who did mine.

On the other hand, I really start to wonder why some cars have all the faults while others have nothing. Could there be a common cause to a major part of the problems…?

This is something I've been saying since 2022. The quality control over build and component production has been terrible.
