Got my cx60 back from the dealer with new steering rack, much better now, drives like new. It is also a tiny bit lighter now.

Then i got the updates for all 4 corner radar sensors. Now i can drive on the motorway, overtake lorries and get back in front of them without alarms. Also there are much less false alarms and warnings or unwanted counteractions from brakes or steering. Only in roundabouts i am still getting false alarms when entering right after another car has passed.

Just had a 3 hour drive in rain and heavy snow. The radar went out after 2,5 hours but the front radar was totally covered with thick ice then. So that is much better than before, it would have quit operation even in slight rain.

I also got a new revision of front strut bearings, clunking noise is gone plus it seems a little bit more compliant in city driving over harsh bumps.

Car is getting there :)

Indeed sounds like good news.

I have my wife’s schedule for mid Dec for the 20k / 1y Service and besides this there is a long list of things STILL to be fixed, which I am constantly reminding my Dealer of:
  • suspensions - no fix yet 🥵
  • tank not 100 filled - even after 2 software updates by my Dealer, still no fix ?🥵
  • front radar - seems to be a fix, Recall on this👍🏻
  • front strut bearings - cricking again, need re-greasing, now seems to be a more stable solution 👍🏻
  • vibration/ humming - changed already the prop shaft, now it’s even worse than before 👓🥵

Thanks for sharing. I trist my Dealer will do them too. If not I have information to remind him of 😁

Just to be sure: do not mix up strut bearings (clonking noise and harsh ride) with creaking lower control arms.

Strange for my car: they lubed the lower control arms once about a year ago and since then no noise at all. But maybe they were regreased without me knowing with every shop visit - and there were quite a number of them ;)

Does your receipt of work have the part number for those top mounts? Would be interesting to compare as @ASH8 hasnt mentioned anything about redesigned bearings/top mounts being released but this could be very beneficial to any suffering owners.

No unfortunately not. It is not a gamechanger comfortwise but it is better. I do not know when they were put into production models as my phev is a very early one (i think july 2022) - mine clearly had the first revision. Maybe @ASH8 can add to that.

Burli which area of Germany are you in? I am in NRW. Which VIN have you got (please hid last 3 digit). Wonder if there is somenting i should also look for.
The car i tested back in Febrary was a total frustating one:a continous alarm in the city and with Snow...the one delivered recently is a total different behave...apart the lane departure...

From a Mazda EPC Electronic Parts Catalogue point of view I am not seeing many changes to Part Numbers or Parts Assemblies apart from minor a few weeks ago.

Fortunately these Mazda EPCs can be very accurate and usually a good indicator as to what is happening on Hofu production line and when, this time on this part it's not the case and I can not answer why it is not showing much.
