Hello from Bulgaria, guys!

I'm expecting to receive mine CX-60 Homura, 3.3 diesel, 254hp in March (ordered in August 2022) and I will appreciate if some of you, who is already enjoying his CX-60 diesel can share experience, problems, consumption (I seen in Japanese forums are talking about less than 5.0 l/100km for 254hp engine, 4x4 which sounds crazy!!!), pros & cons and other thoughts.

Thanks in advance!

Hey @Papunardi welcome to the forum! Congrats on ordering your CX-60! What sold you on the CX-60 over other vehicles? Was it the fuel economy? It's too bad Mazda doesn't offer that diesel engine in the US.
Thanks for welcoming me and for the nice words!
I’m a big Mazda fan and for the past 10 years had a chance to purchase 3 brand new Mazda 6 my self, 1 Mazda CX-3 for my wife and another CX-3 for my mother. I guess that makes me “sick fan” :) :)
When CX-60 was announced I got in contact with the dealer and was lucky to be amongst the first one who tested the car in Bulgaria. The PHEV has impressive torque and power, but I am a long distance traveler and I make 45-50k km per year, so I knew plug in is not for me. So I waited for the 3.3 diesel to be launched for sale and I was one of the first in Bulgaria to order the car. Actually none of the diesel engines has landed in Bulgaria to date, so most probably in March, when I expect to receive mine, there will be few only on the Bulgarian roads.
I read in the Japanese forums and saw on YouTube that people who are already enjoying the 3.3 diesel are sharing insane staff like almost 4.4l/100km consumption.
I am really interested to hear all the info from guys who are running CX-60 diesel.
Thanks and good luck to everyone!

I think the first 3.3d vehicles will arrive in Europe in February, so we'll have to wait a little bit more, before having first-person info for the engine.
My diesel Homura should also arrive until the end of March.

Consumption is 20 km/l for the versions with 200 hp and 18.9-19.2 km/l for the more powerful with 254 hp in full sunshine and downhill :)

What kind if problems are you expect in diesel version? Susspensions, doors, etc?
Hope that Mazda have collected enough data to overcome the software and suspension problems. Also believe that the gearbox will work smoothly with the diesel engine, compared to the PHEV. Today I visited my dealer for a short coffee break and he showed me one additional isolation rubber seal that is missing at the rear doors of CX-60 and is available at CX-5, which I definitely will put in place on my CX-60.

Had the opportunity to test drive the Mazda 3.3 E-Skyactiv E, D 200 RWD, have a CX 60 PHEV myself but just had to try the much talked about one, what I got out of it was that I became even happier with my PHEV - D. is not my cup of tea and it would soot after a short time with my driving pattern approx. 80 km/day

Comparing the 200bhp RWD base model to an AWD 300bhp top model isn't much of a comparison, but we knew your review wouldnt be good as your a PHEV hero! I mean, the PHEV could blow up and you'd still think its the best car in the world.

It wouldn't 'soot' at all at 80km a day, don't be daft.

I think Southern will pay a lot of money to change to diesel and will be more dissapointed with diesel than with phev :)
lol...but Its barely costing me anything and the small cost will be recouped within a year ;) but i may also be dissapointed, I agree but I won't be 'as' disappointed' as the PHEV, so it works out well for me to move. However, I am going to be seeing some Alfa Dealers when the new 2023 Stelvio Competizone is released in a week or so's time...if I get a good discount, I may go for one of them.

Better looking but the 2.0 diesel wont be a touch on the 3.3 6 cylinder diesel

80km/day means that you are in the target group of PHEV or other hybrid types. And I'm sure you are very satisfied with it. I travel a lot and have days with 800+km/day, abt 45-50k/year. I ordered AWD 254hp D, should be much better than 200 RWD :)
