CX-60 Climate Heating Elements

Towing on Sunday with my 2.5 Petrol - Outside temperature 21C
The air coming out of the vents was quite warm compared to the outside air. Obviously the ICE was running while in Towing mode.

Today - Outside temperature 20C running in EV mode - Air out of the vents approximately the same temperature as the outside air.

Aircon not running in either case.

Have others had a similar experience?

Does anyone know if the heater element in the climate control is both electric and hot water from the ICE?

The PTC heater runs in EV mode, and in case of preheating cabin before takeoff, With ICE running PTC shuts down and heating comes from engine.
I always use climate in "auto" and temperature is always within 0,5 degree

That aligns with my experience with a difference in air temperature when in ICE driving and EV driving.
