No, they don’t see it as a defect, I asked Mazda if they are or will be incorporating the sound proofing mat on the production line and they literally said it was not a defect, but just an improvement for unsatisfied clients. Same about the shock absorbers.

I doubt you asked Mazda, you probably asked your dealer of Mazda customer services in your contry.

Thankfully being that i own two of them now i have a good knowledge basis and contacts, but believe what you will. Dosent bother me.

Ok so just to add to that, the two PHEVs that came on the same transporter as my diesel to my dealer didnt have the sound proofing either. The Technician remarked he had five cars to do that week with an eyeroll over its tedious nature.

True, my guess is those cars that will come with improved sound proofing from factory, should be arriving soon, according to Mazda, CX-60 PHEV's with VIN serial above 123631 and produced after 12th of jan 2023, should have it, might be same for diesel, or it had it from the start, but not sure.

200hp diesel which came to Poland 2 weeks ago was without factory door improvement.

Yeah it will eventually happen automatically byt this whole ‘every three months’ thing mentioned above I think is just made up. If that was the case these cars arriving would have the suspension and sound proofing already.

My dealer is doing all four doors for me instead of just the rears so little bonus for me.
