Can there be a 2.5l petrol without the phev option available for cx60

Since the Mazda philosophy is "rightsizing" , will they be releasing 2.5l petrol withot the phev ? I live in the middle east and the dealer say they (although uncertain) that it will be the same spec as cx5 2.5l. is it possible????? Because I don't want phev and would only buy one if it has the in line 6. I have attached the cx5 spec sheet for UAE

I don't think so. They have announced initially 3.0 petrol engine, which they changed to 3.3 petrol engine later on. They will probably stick to 3.3 petrol, because they will install same engine into CX-80 and CX-90.
